Speakers for the event in- cluded, Paula Crowley, Co- founder of Anchor Health Prop- erties; The Honorable Rick Scott, Florida State Governor; Ed Wolf, Mayor of the City of Wildwood; and Rick Winn, president, AHC+Hospitality. The project is being designed by ESa out of Nashville, Ten- nessee and constructed by DPR out of their Orlando, Florida office. Carroll to lead MidHudson LLC VIENNA, VA — Middle- burg , a Vienna based real estate investment, develop- ment and management firm, announced the formation of MidHudson LLC , a company that will offer a product to de- velopers using HUD financing that will reduce the amount of equity required for a project and, as a result, increase equity returns. Joseph Carroll , for- merly of Barclays Capital, will lead the new company. Middleburg managing part- ner, Chris Finlay , said, “Mid- Hudson will provide a quality solution to address cumber- some reserves for HUD-fi- nanced housing developments that simply hasn’t existed before. We have been in the position that other HUD de- velopers are in and saw this as an opportunity to streamline the process.” Finlay continued, “We are privileged to have Joe Carroll joining us to lead this important new venture. His experience and leadership skills will ensure the success of MidHudson.”
HARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Anchor Health Properties continues its relationship with The Villag- es, on a state-of-the-art 200,000 s/f Center for Advanced Health- care at Brownwood located in The Villages, FL. A formal groundbreaking ceremony was recently held to celebrate the project. The facility is to be built on a ground-leased parcel site that is 31 acres in The Villages’ Brownwood Paddock Square Town Center facing Route 44.
