Les Hawks ont battu les Colts de Cor- nwall et les Braves de Brockville la semaine dernière. Premièrement, ils ont réussi une victoire de 2-1 contre les Colts le 21 dé- cembre au Complexe sportif Robert Hartley. The Vankleek Hill Cougars crowned the Bytown Royals 9-4 at home, finishing the 2018 portion of their hockey season schedule in royal style. Trystan Lavoie punched in a pair of goals for the Cougars and assisted on one other goal during the game. Scoring single points for Vankleek Hill were Shayne Allen, Hugo Blanchard, Nicolas Castonguay, Tyler Dopel- hamer, Vincent Huneault, Justin Labrosse, and Jonathan Leblanc. The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) named Hawkesbury Hawks’ goaltender Matthew Petizian the Week 16 CCM Hockey Player of the Week. The 1998-born Mississauga, Ontario native posted a 3-0-0 record, making 67 saves and posting a 1.32 GAA (Goals Against Average) and .944 SV per cent (Save percentage) as he helped Hawkesbury move atop the Yzerman Division heading into the holiday break. Having won their last three games, Petizian made 21 saves on December 18, 24 saves on the 21 st and 22 saves on the 22 nd . Overall, Petizian is having a very successful season. He leads the league in wins with 22 and shutouts with 5. He is second in GAA (2.19) and SV per cent (.927). —submitted photo
