LEAD-IN Write these jumbled questions on the board. LANGUAGE NOTE Both bake/baked and roast/roasted refer to preparing food in an oven. The difference is that foods that are baked are cooked ‘dry’, e.g. cakes and bread, while those that are roasted are baked in oil or fat, e.g. potatoes, beef. 4 Students complete the exercise.
