I give it my all when I am at work. I do keep connected when I am off if it is possible, but take time away from all electronics and phones to enjoy myself. What impact has social media/networking had on your business? It allows us to market ourselves through other avenues and to people and companies who we might have not been exposed to. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current posi- tion andwhy you chose the field you are in today? In 1995, my corporate real estate job was moving out of state, and I was approached by Del Markward, who was opening his own office. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen in your ca- reer/profession to change them? One of my first goals was to obtain my Broker License, and I did that im- mediately. What unique qualities and or personality traits do you feel make you most successful in your profes- sion? My attention to detail and follow up. No one likes not feeling important enough to have their calls returned. What challenges and/or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to become as successful as you are today? There were very few commercial real es- tate women when I started.
