These questions, called rhetorical questions because they don’t require an answer, shouldn’t occur more than once per paragraph. • Remind students that they can use the imperative to give advice and examples in the second and third paragraph, e.g. Think …, Keep in mind …, Write …, Spend … • Point out that in articles, the best endings link back to the starting point in some way.
