ANDREW BUSCH Chairman & CEO, Sage Policy Group
Andrew Busch is the former 1st Chief Market Intelligence Officer for the US government and economic futurist at AndrewBusch.com. For the CFTC, he was charged with improving and enhancing the government’s understanding of the markets and the economy. His job was to take all the news, information and data on the economy and markets; and filter it into condensed, easily understood research; then communicate it to the government and public. Andy provided economic and market briefings to White House, US House, US Senate, the SEC, the Federal Reserve Board and the US Treasury staff on a wide range of issues including interest rates, inflation, China’s influence on trade, and the impact of technology on the economy. Prior to joining the CFTC, Mr. Busch was CEO and founder of a boutique financial markets and policy research firm, Bering Productions, Inc (BPI). Before BPI, he was the Global Currency and Public Policy Strategist for Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Chicago. He is author of the book “World Event Trading” covering large crises, like infectious disease outbreaks and war, and their impact on the economy and markets. Today, he’s a consultant and keynote speaker with a wide range of clients including chemicals, financial services, energy, real estate, manufacturing, construction and agriculture.

ROBERT DAUFFENBACH, PH.D. Senior Associate Dean for Economic Development, Professor of Business Administration, and Director, Center for Economic and Management Research Michael F. Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma Dr. Dauffenbach’s principal training is in human resource economics and econometric methods. He has served on the faculties of Wayne State, the University of Illinois and Oklahoma State University. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Wichita State University and his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dauffenbach has served on various study panels of the National Academy of Sciences, Biomedical and Behavioral Scientists Personnel, as well as the National Academy of Engineering. He has also served as interim associate dean for economic development. He is a member of the American Economic Association, Southern Economic Association, the National Association of Business Economists, and the Association for University Business and Economic Research. In July, Dr. Dauffenbach was named professor emeritus of entrepreneurship.

Dr. Russell Evans serves as Partner and Chief Economist for Thorberg Collectorate and President of the Collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division, providing a suite of chief economist services to the City of Oklahoma City and clients ranging from industry trade groups to tribes and nonprofits. As chief economist, Dr. Evans is highly regarded as an analyst and communicator. His analysis of national and regional economic performance, economic policy, and financial markets is widely respected and delivered to a broad audience through dozens of speeches annually. As chief economist, he specializes in making complex economic principles accessible to engaged audiences. Dr. Evans previously served as professor of economics and interim dean of the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University and currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Business Analytics and the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Trustee of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and chair of the investment committee.

Mark C. Snead is an economist and president of RegionTrack, an Oklahoma City- based economic research firm specializing in regional economic forecasting and analysis. Mark’s research interests focus primarily on regional economic modeling and forecasting, local area economic development, and the economic role of the nation’s energy-producing regions. Mark presents frequently to a range of business, financial and policy audiences and has published numerous research articles and reports on regional economic issues. His research has been widely cited by policy officials, other researchers, and leading media outlets. Prior to founding RegionTrack, Mr. Snead served as vice president and Denver branch executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where he served as the Reserve Bank’s regional economist and lead officer in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and northern New Mexico.

CHAD WILKERSON Sr. VP and OKC Branch Executive, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Chad Wilkerson is Senior Vice President and Oklahoma City Branch Executive at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. In this role, he serves as the Bank’s lead officer and regional economist in Oklahoma. He is responsible for briefing the Kansas City Fed’s president on economic trends in the state. As Oklahoma City Branch Executive, Wilkerson is the Bank’s lead officer and regional economist in Oklahoma. He recruits and works closely with the Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors and is responsible for briefing the Kansas City Fed president, a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, on economic trends in the state. His team conducts research and surveys on key regional issues such as energy, manufacturing and migration.
