DEVELOPMENT OFFICE An update from the Development Office

The Development Office is continuing to strengthen relationships with College’s wider network of Old Boys and past parents, and is keeping them up to date with proposed plans for the future.

Director of Development, Mr Ric Fletcher, says “College has engaged the firm Architectus to conduct a master planning exercise, which will have input from an education and curriculum review by College staff. When this process is completed we will be equipped to provide more information to the community about our plans for the future. A decision on what will be done on the currently vacant Cramner site will come out of all this planning and discussion.” In the meantime though, the office has conducted the Annual

Appeal, which achieved a very positive outcome. Mr Fletcher says, “We are thrilled with the 2013/14 Annual Appeal that has raised $340,245 from 384 donors. “Similarly, we would like to recognise our supporters, who have advised us that they have made provision in their estate planning for College, by leaving a bequest. We also acknowledge those who have passed away and have left a generous bequest: David John Ellison and Mary Marion Maddison.

“Our 2015 Annual Appeal will be launched in mid-August this year. Our goal is to provide the best facilities for our boys and the appeal is an important vehicle that enables our community to support some of the everyday, urgent needs at College which are not covered by school fees,’’ he says. “The Annual Appeal is also an important way of reminding donors that they are able to give an enduring gift through their estate planning. ‘’ The list of contributors can be seen on the following pages.
