HAWKS SPLIT GAMES AGAINST OTTAWA AND PEMBROKE

The Raiders are in Hawkesbury this Friday and then the following Saturday the Hawks head to Renfrew to face the Timber Wolves. November 25 the Hawks are in Navan to play against the Grads.

Just before the end of the game, Robitaille fired in one last goal for Ottawa on an empty Hawkesbury net. Mongeon and Merlin Offman assisted on the goal. Last Friday night at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex, the Hawks cut down the Lumber Kings 4-1, taking the lead in second period after a scoreless first period for both teams. Sunday’s game against the Raiders in Nepean is pushed back but the Hawks enjoyed a home-ice win against the Pembroke Lumber Kings last Friday. Two of the three mid-November games for Hawkesbury went ahead as scheduled with mixed results for the Hawks. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the Hawks down 3-1 last Wednesday at the Jim Durrell Sports Complex. The Senators dominated first period with two unanswered goals against the Hawks.
