SOCIOLOGY – Bachelor of Arts
Opportunities to understand the conceptual and methodological tools used by sociologists to understand society. Learn research techniques, creative reasoning, communication methods—core skills that can translate into a wide variety of careers including in counseling, marketing, criminal justice, or psychology. Total Credits: 45 Part Time: 4-5 quarters (11 credits a quarter) Full Time: 2-3 quarters (16 credits a quarter) Prerequisites: • Required to complete either a minor or a second major in another discipline • Students seeking a B.A. degree must complete one-year college/university study or two years high school study of a single world language. • Students with a sociology major cannot have a sociology minor; they may have a social services minor.
