Data Science: Shaping the Future The mission of UNT’s College of Information (COI) is to generate, integrate and disseminate knowledge in a learner-centered environment. We advance students’ knowledge in data science, information science, library science, computing and technology systems, learning and cognition, linguistics and human performance. Our college continually evolves within a nexus of learning, research, information and technology to facilitate the creation and assimilation of knowledge, innovation and performance for student success. The data science program in the COI is designed to meet the rising demand for professionals in the fields of data management, big data and data analytics.
