Raised on a farm in New Zealand, Dennis could have used his loveless, disadvantaged childhood as an excuse for an unful�lled life. Still, instead, he overcame his feelings of rejection to become a soldier, mechanic, athlete, teacher, familyman, pastor, andmissionary to several countries, including Israel. As a child, he sufferedmuch verbal abuse. As he grew, he started to achieve things that on the surface looked good, but inside he had no self-esteem. At age �fteen, he joined the Army Regular Force Cadets. Before he had graduated to the Regular Force, Dennis became the Head Cadet. His life changed when he met his wife Penny, who was the �rst person in his life that saw something in him and encouraged him in his achievements.
