While it may become an unknown struggle, this led her to continue fostering children to adopting them. “My youngest daughter, at age 6 asked if we could get some foster kids we could keep because she did not like giving them back. “She then took an advice from his daughter, “So we adopted two older girls from foster care. I now have a total of nine children. Five living bio kids and two adopted. There are also Fosters who still call me mom,” she continued.
the baby’s parents didn’t show up or heard from—that’s when Kathy took the action. “Something about this baby’s situation ignited something within me. I wanted to help and protect her. I knew I wanted to help children like this little girl.” Her love for children goes beyond words.
