A
S CHRISTMAS DAY INCHES closer and closer, we all can’t help but get into the gift-giving spirit, and
we can’t deny that picking out (and receiving) presents is one of the most exciting (and nerve-racking) parts of the holiday season. Choosing what to give to someone is a challenge. What do you buy for your film-enthusiast brother whose number one wish list item is a limited edition Blu-ray of a movie that has come out decades ago? Or your fangirl cousin who is about to take a trip to Korea in a few months? What about your hopeless romantic friend who is down on their luck in love his year? What if December has already come in and you haven’t even started looking for gifts yet? What if the thing they wanted was really hard to procure? Well, one place could have all the answers to these questions—the bookstore. While books are the obvious gift-choice for your bookworm friend (yes, you know the one—who insists that the book was better than the movie, who owns a pile of books they haven’t read yet that keeps getting higher and higher), it’s good to note that they’re also equally great gifts for the non-readers. After all, anyone who “doesn’t like books” just has not found the right book for them yet.
