Hello from Oklahoma City’s CAPDOA board. First of all, we hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy. After a very slow start for CAPDOA, our 2021 is looking up! We are beyond excited that we will be meeting in- person on August 17 for the CAPDOA Seminar in OKC. It seems like ages but we couldn’t be more excited as this is the first time getting our membership together face-to-face since February of 2020. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our February 2021 webinar meeting which was the first one of the year due to the brutally cold weather and power outages across Oklahoma and Texas. Thankfully, we were able to have our first Webinar in April with the help of Yoli Bazan. We appreciate her sharing her time and allowing us to use the NADOA platform to host our guest. We had a successful webinar featuring Attorney Roberto Seda and his presentation covering “Acquiring an Interest Through a Deceased Mineral Owner”. We are working on finalizing a few details for seminar and a couple of year end presentations and hope to share that information very soon. We can’t wait to see everyone in August at the CAPDOA Seminar and then again in September for NADOA Institute.
