PBADOA has had a great start to the year. The Board has been working hard to continue to provide quality educational opportunities for our members. We are excited to hopefully begin planning resuming our in-person lunches. In March, we were joined by Attorney, David R. Smith, with Lynch, Chappell, and Alsup via webinar. He presented “Foreign Issues Affecting Texas Titles”. We were grateful for his time and the information he shared. In April, we were pleased to have Daniel Pender, CPL, Surface Land and Business Development Manager with Pioneer Natural Resources, provide his experiences with “Surface Land Processes and Challenges”. Our group was very interested in what he had to say and had several questions afterward. We look forward to begin planning our yearly Seminar that is tentatively set for October. We hope to find a suitable location to safely and effectively conduct our meetings. We are also excited to announce that PBADOA will award 2 scholarships for our members to the 48th Annual Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It will be an excellent opportunity to hear great speakers, network, and soak up some sun!
