BARRE FIT
Most barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of- motion movements. Also, don’t be surprised if your class HEROSFOUND FIT FOR LIFE SERIES Participants will learn about nutrition (macro and micro nutrients), meal preparations, and understanding how food and energy is processed, used, and stored by the body. Participants will also learn about importance of sleep, recovery, injury prevention, and mobility & flexibility training. Upon completion of the course participants will develop a meal plan that is accessible and economically savvy. Participants will have the tools to develop a repair & recovery log to track how their body responds to various amounts of rest, supplementation, and sleep. In true camp fashion we will pack the day with exciting activities and games. Participants will need to pack a lunch and two snacks, and we will provide the fun in a safe and secure environment. $125 resident/ $156.25 non-resident 6–12 years RCN 8416, Mon.–Fri., March 11–15, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
