3) Primary branch circuit protection consisting of an UL489 circuit breakers are provided. 4) The power switch is wired so that the normally open contact (NO) will activate the panel. This is a maintained push button. 10) All communications cables leaving the electrical panel should be routed in a direct manner. The longer the cable run, the more electromagnetic interference (EMI) can occur. Do NOT leave slack in the communications cables. 11) Be aware of communications cable routing. Welding and variable frequency drives (VFDs) as well as other electrical equipment generate volatile electromagnetic fields (EMF) which can cause interference (EMI). 12) The communications cables must be shielded in a manner which does not create a circular ground. The shield grounding is completed in the unit junction boxes and HMI control panels only. Do NOT ground the communications cables in the unit electrical panel. 13) Once attached, the door must open fully at least 90 degrees with out interference. The door is also removable for eased maintenance. 14) The following labels must be applied: (2) “Ground Symbol” labels applied next to ground terminal blocks. (1) “Laminated Electrical Diagram” applied to the inside of the electrical box. (1) “NEMA 12” label applied to the inside of the electrical box. 15) SOOW cable and THHN wires are rated for 600V. 16) Breakers are active when showing red and tripped or deactivated when showing green. 17) There are (2) breakers located on the terminal strip. These breakers are UL489 breakers rated at 3A at 600VAC. These breakers are labels ‘B1’.
