Our Real Estate practice specialises in development, asset and operational management of both commercial and residential assets - working with both developers and advisory/ consultants. Our Approach

What we offer… Search Methodology:

Our process has been developed over a number of years in the industry and is broken down in to four, tried and tested steps.

Step 1: Identification of the relevant candidate pool. We work with you identify who these people are and which companies they are working for.

Step 2: Articulating the proposition. This comes in two forms; our ability to verbally articulate your business and opportunity as well as production of the candidate briefing document.

Step 3: Analysis of Candidates suitability. We conduct thorough, in-depth candidate interviews against the pre-agreed selection criteria.

Step 4: On-boarding. Often over looked, we keep in regular contact with the candidate to make sure period from offer acceptance to the candidate starting, runs smoothly.

Candidate Attraction: We understand that good candidates are very difficult to find and we work in partnership with you to create a tailor-made candidate briefing pack that is enticing and at times interactive, fully embracing today’s digital society – something we have found to be greatly overlooked by the more traditional, outdated search firms. Campaign Management: The design and execution of multiple-hire campaigns including, advertising, selection and on-boarding, ensuring smooth mobilisation of teams or specialists. Interim Management: We have supported numerous companies by adding interim appointments to cope with added work flow of business development initiatives. This has included Pitch Design, Bid Writing and Bid Directors for high-profile projects such as HS2 and 22 Bishopsgate. All our interim professionals are vetted and our payroll services are undertaken by us in-house. Markets Insights: We are speaking with market professionals all day, every day. Our specialist team are able to in-depth knowledge of salary information and market condition to all you to make informed decisions about your team.

Meet our team

Matthew leads MRG’s Real Estate Advisory and Project and Cost Management business units, working with a range of organisations in order to provide tailored recruitment solutions and aligned services.

Having joined MRG in 2013 he has successfully grown both the Real Estate Advisory and Project and Cost Management teams.

He graduated from The University of Reading and started his recruitment career as a Researcher within an executive search company progressing to the Head of Real Estate Practice. In 2009 he joined a Real Estate and Construction search business as a Principal before joining MRG. Matthew predominately operates at a senior level working with a number of organisations to make key strategic hires across the property industry. Being trained in a number of human capital tools, Matthew is our resident expert in the use of Thomas International, and their Psychometric Assessment Tools.

Stephanie joined MRG in January 2015 and is a Business Sector Director within the Real Estate Advisory team specialising in retained appointments at mid to senior level.

She spent the first 8 years of her career with a large property services organisation where she oversaw the management and disposal of property interests on behalf of institutional investors and lenders. She later joined the Business Development team, providing property services to a range of clients including agents, solicitors and investors. Stephanie has a proven track record in Property Management, Corporate Real Estate, Asset Management and Professional Services appointments. She works in partnership with her clients advising on their recruitment strategy, approach and ultimately providing the right recruitment solution to suit their needs.

Ashley joind MRG in 2015 and specialises in the execution and delivery of development and asset management related assignments across the real estate sector – working predominantly with developers and property companies.

His clients include major regeneration specialists to smaller, bespoke real estate developers.

Recent appointments include a Development Director on a major urban regeneration scheme in London, an Associate Development Director with a recognised residentially-lead developer and is currently in the process of delivering a Managing Director of Development & Asset Management for a Real Estate Private Equity business with a global reach. With 10 years recruitment experience, Ashley has a proven track record of delivering search campaigns across a range of property businesses and asset classes, building up a strong network of real estate professionals in the process.

Miles is a Key Account Resources Manager at MRG and joined the business in 2017.

He works on Project Management recruitment campaigns in PM and Multi-disciplinary consultancies.

He is based in our city office, recruiting roles that span the

London area and beyond.

He spent 3 years in the Oil and Gas industry before moving into recruitment in 2011 working with mid to senior level candidates for international roles.

He has experience on both permanent and temporary basis.
