START YOUR JOURNEY After months of renovation and years of imagining what this space could become, the Multicultural Center officially opened its doors last spring with a refreshed home built for gathering, creativity and community. Now that the space is open, all students are invited in! If you're looking for somewhere to study between classes, host an organization meeting, attend a workshop, or simply meet new people, the MCC was designed to make community feel accessible. CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE There’s no one right way to use the MCC, and no space is closed off unless otherwise reserved for an event! Inside students are welcome to walk in informally during open hours: Monday–Thursday, 10–7 PM, and Friday, 10–5 PM. Student clubs and organizations can formally reserve meeting and event rooms through 25Live. Hours of space usage can be extended to 8–10 PM, Monday–Friday by request only. DESTINATION: THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER So, what are the spaces available in the MCC? Living Room Space to lounge and hang out with a large smart TV and a Nintendo switch! Resource Library Several adjustable tables and sitting spaces are great for studying or hanging out with
friends. An assortment of reading materials can be checked out to borrow. Meeting and Conference Rooms Perfect for a quiet place to study or work on a group project! Dance Studio Large event room with mirror wall and hardwood floors. Recommended for dance practices and instructional events. Community Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen that can be utilized for personal use, preparing food for private events or club meetings, and/or catered food from Dining Services for events in or near MCC. Prayer and Reflection Room Meditate, pray and/or spend time in quiet reflection either individually or in a group setting. All Gender Restroom Single use restroom with an infant changing table. ROADSIDE DISCOVERY One of the biggest messages the MCC team hopes students take away: “This is a place to find your place—you are always welcome to stop by or relax between classes, and you never know what club meetings or other opportunities you might encounter in our space. Every day is a new adventure at the MCC.” –Justin Santoli, Assistant Director and ESC Advisor
