• Identify property savings and new revenue streams and to ensure their implementation to meet the Trust’s Cost Improvement Plan. • The preparation of particulars and marketing of land and property for sale or to let. • To provide valuation advice to Head of Property and generally to assist with the valuation of Trust properties as required. • Support the Head of Property in preparing regular reports on legal and planning issues for the Trust Board and sub committees. To support the implementation of the evolving strategic estate development plan and to lend property specialist assistance to Capital Project colleagues. • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Trust’s asset database for property information and to undertake the audit of maintenance of Estates’ records on the Trust’s MiCAD system. • To ensure that key and trigger dates are accurately uploaded to the Trust’s electronic management system and that such dates are responded to and actioned as appropriate. • Procure and recommend the appointment of third party consultants and agents or other service providers in accordance with the requirements of the Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions. • Manage consultants’ and multidisciplinary team’s workload and outputs to ensure delivery to agreed timescales. • To foster and maintain a good working relationship with third parties and to assist in managing the Trust’s appointed solicitors. • Represents the Trust at formal board meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with external partners and lead negotiations where appropriate with internal and external groups and contractors as required. • To regularly undertake property inspections and site visits of occupied and vacant buildings and land. • Such other duties as may be specified by the Head of Property Services.
