CEO LETTER

Dear Lefrik Community,

As we wrap up 2024, I want to thank you for being part of this journey. Your support has helped us stay true to our mission: creating sustainable, ethical, and long-lasting products. This year, we focused on doing better with less: fewer products, made with more care, better quality, and a deeper purpose. This shift helped us reduce overproduction, strengthen in-season sales, and stay true to our values of mindful, responsible fashion. We also took a big step in improving how we work globally, opening a new facility in London. Alongside our hubs in Madrid and Miami, this allows us to be more agile and efficient, getting closer to you, wherever you are. Beyond products, we worked with NGOs, supported those affected by the DANA floods in Valencia, and repaired hundreds of backpacks to extend their life and reduce waste. Lefrik is now present in 70 countries, with a community of over 120,800 people. Thanks to you, we continue proving that conscious fashion can be both beautiful and meaningful.

Made with common sense, worn with pride.

Curra Rotondo, CEO and Co-founder of Lefrik

Our Fabrics

At Lefrik, we’re committed to reducing virgin polyester use by giving a second life to discarded plastic bottles—saving energy and cutting down on waste. We work exclusively with 100% recycled polyester (RPET) , endorsed by Textile Exchange for its environmental benefits. By limiting our range to just five fabric types, we improve efficiency and make future recycling easier.

Key Fabrics

Ripstop: Lightweight, water- and scratch-resistant with reinforced texture that prevents tearing—perfect for outdoor use. Oxford: Durable, breathable and water-resistant, ideal for everyday use. Tech Fabric: Soft , lightweight and water-resistant - our go-to for innovation and elevated design.

Designing without trends Longevity means quality, not only in terms of product durability, but also meaning timeless designs.

Monomaterial products With the use of no blends fabrics we aim to simplify recycling and support circularity, reducing environmental impact. 5-Year Warranty Our products are long-term investments. If a Lefrik product develops a fault within five years, we’ll provide a free solution. Repurposing Policy We fight textile waste by repairing, reusing, and donating unsellable items to charity. To further reduce waste, we hold sample sales for design prototypes and unused stock. In 2024, samples accounted for 2% of our direct- to-consumer sales.

Repair Service Our repair service is key to extending product life. In 2024, we handled 124 in-store repairs in Madrid (11 led to product swaps) and resolved 36 online cases by sending spare parts. We also promote local repair through a collaborative online map and collect worn backpacks in exchange for discounts on new ones. Because the most sustainable product is the one that lasts.

Transport & Logistics

We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint by prioritizing sea freight over air, maximizing container space, and optimizing every step of our supply chain. Products from our factories in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia are shipped by sea to our facilities in Madrid, Miami, and London, optimizing routes and reducing emissions through more efficient distribution. In 2023, we opened a U.S. warehouse in Florida, allowing us to ship directly from factories—cutting transatlantic shipping and lowering emissions. In 2024, we opened a new UK warehouse to serve our second-largest DTC market. By switching from air to road transport, we significantly reduced the carbon footprint of shipments to the UK.

Efficient logistics = less impact.

IMPACT 2024

Impact

At Lefrik, our commitment to sustainability drives everything we do. In 2024, we took a closer look at the environmental footprint of our materials—comparing our recycled fabrics to conventional, non-recycled alternatives— because we believe that knowing better helps us do better. With the help of DCYCLE and data from EcoInvent 3.9, we conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) following ISO 14040:2006 standards. This analysis looked at the full journey of our fabrics—from raw material extraction to final production (cradle-to-gate). What we learned: By using recycled polyester in both the main fabric and the lining of our products, we significantly reduce environmental impact.

TRANSPARENCY REPORT

IMPACT 2024

Climate Change: 1KG Lefrik fabric has an impact of 6.27 kg CO₂ eq., compared to 7.85 kg CO₂ eq. for conventional fabric, showing a 20% reduction. Fossil Resource Depletion: 1KG Lefrik uses 79.22 MJ, while conventional fabric uses 134.41 MJ, resulting in a 41% reduction. Freshwater Ecotoxicity: 1KG Lefrik has a value of 29.99 CTUe, compared to 30.49 CTUe for conventional fabric, showing a 2% reduction. Water Use (World eq. deprived): 1KG Lefrik uses 4,831.92 liters, while conventional fabric uses 6,120.00 liters, resulting in a 21% reduction. This is just the beginning. As we grow, we’ll keep expanding our measurement systems to include more areas of our supply chain and operations—because transparency and continuous improvement are key to real change.

GOALS 2025

For the Planet

We’ll keep exploring low-impact materials and smarter production models. We’re currently developing new products made from biobased vegan leather in Mexico, helping us diversify our offering while staying true to our values. We’re also planning more community-driven repair actions and will continue measuring our footprint to reduce it year after year.

For the Animals

As always, no animal-derived materials. Ever. We’re expanding our range of plant-based alternatives, and working with local innovators and artisans to create beautiful, cruelty-free products that last. We’ll also start collaborating with companies that promote plant-based food, helping amplify their message and bring their products to more people. Because we believe that every small choice—from what we wear to what we eat—can make a difference.

For the People

We believe business should be a force for good. That’s why we’re partnering with artisans and small-scale workshops in Latin America, not only to grow our presence in the region and in the US but also to support local economies and preserve traditional know-how. We’ll also invest in environmental education projects, bringing awareness to younger generations about the power of conscious production and consumption—and how beautiful, sustainable design can help the planet and be profitable.
