later explore the 14th-century city walls that enclose Xian’s Old Town. Day 7: Xian - Chengdu Enjoy a bullet train journey to Chengdu where you’ll visit the vibrant People’s Park. Day 8: Yangtze River Cruise to Zhangjiajie Spend a morning at the Panda Conservation Centre to see the adorable giant pandas! Then drive to Chongqing to board your Yangtze River cruise vessel for the next three nights. Days 9-11: Yangtze River Cruise The next few days are spent exploring the treasures of the Yangtze River. Visit the beautiful scenic area of Mount ShuangGui, prepare for breathtaking views as you sail through the Wu and Qutang Gorges, hop on a smaller boat to meander along the Goddess Stream, and marvel at the impressive Three Gorges Dam. Day 15: Shanghai Spend the final day of your tour exploring Shanghai. Visit the peaceful Yu Garden, wander through the alleys of the atmospheric old town, see the colonial architecture of The Bund and see the city lights at night via a cruise on the Huangpu River. Day 16: Shanghai - UK Your tour ends today. Head to the airport for your flight home to the UK.
