Day 3: Playa del Carmen - Merida Travel to Merida with a stop at Chichen Itza, a significant archaeological site which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Join an expert guide to learn about the site. Day 4: Merida Head into the jungle and marvel at the cenotes, considered sacred to the ancient Maya. Dive in with your family and channel your inner archaeologist whilst exploring these waterways. Day 5: Celestun Biosphere Reserve - Merida Observe wildlife in the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, home to over 200 bird species, and also a hatching ground for endangered sea turtles. Day 6: Merida - Playa del Carmen Ascend the pyramid steps of Kinich Kak Mo, Izamal’s Mayan pyramid, and witness the excitement on your kids’ faces as they conquer the ancient steps and take in the panoramic views from the top.
