Day 8: Hoi An Today you have a free day to explore Hoi An as you please. Optional: Excursion to My Son. Day 9: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City Today, fly to Ho Chi Minh City. It is a city of contrasts, where evidence of former French colonisation sits alongside the fascinating culture of a predominantly Buddhist population. Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City Discover the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City today. Visit the former Presidential Palace before the tour ends with a tasting at East West Brewing, the city’s first craft beer brewery. This evening, gather with your travelling companions for a farewell get-together at a local restaurant. Optional: Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels Day 11: Mekong Delta Today, journey into the depths of the Mekong Delta, your first stop will be at Cai Be, where you will board a boat to cross the water before cruising through lush forest, narrow inlets and canals to a local restaurant for lunch. Days 1-2: UK - Hanoi Today you will fly to Hanoi, arriving on day two. This evening, experience a welcome dinner at KOTO Restaurant, a social enterprise that provides training to disadvantaged children. Day 3: Hanoi This morning you’ll tour Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital. A great way to experience this lively city is aboard cyclos – Vietnam’s answer to the rickshaw. Optional: Excursion to Hanoi’s Water Puppetry Show Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay UNESCO-listed Halong Bay is truly beautiful and today you’ll explore it in style. Board a traditional boat for an overnight cruise amongst its idyllic waters, enjoy a lovely seafood lunch and dinner both served on board. Day 5: Halong Bay - Hue You’ll wake to stunning views of Halong Bay, and enjoy a morning at leisure. Take part in a Tai Chi session on deck, or maybe choose to sit and take in the gorgeous scenery with a coffee. Then, transfer to the airport and fly to Hue.
