Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. After a photo stop at the Athabasca Falls, stop at the Columbia Icefield and ride on an Ice Explorer to learn about its geological features. Further along the Icefield Parkway are spectacular viewpoints over Bow and Peyto Lake. Day 9: Lake Louise This morning you will wake up with the spectacular Emerald Lake and surrounding mountains as the backdrop. Tear yourself away to explore Yoho National Park, making stops at Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls, before taking the short drive to the postcard For the journey to Banff, we recommend leaving the highway and driving on the Bow Valley Parkway, stopping at viewpoints over Morant’s Curve and Castle. You will have two free days to explore Banff and the surrounding National Park. Day 13: Calgary perfect Lake Louise. Days 10-12: Banff Spend the morning taking in the last of the spectacular Rocky Mountains. Also known as Cowtown, Calgary is a welcoming and cosmopolitan city steeped in western culture. Day 14: Calgary - UK Drop off your rental car at Calgary International Airport before catching your flight home.

Days 1-3: UK - Vancouver Fly from the UK to Vancouver, and on arrival transfer independently to your hotel. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture or head over to the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 70 metres over the Capilano River. Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons, to the desert-like interior. Day 5: Rocky Mountaineer - Jasper Your journey continues north and then eastwards as you follow the back of the North Thompson River. Soon you find yourself surrounded by the Rocky and Cariboo Mountain ranges and pass by Mount Robson, which is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
