Makita's new XPS range of screwdriver bits & holders provided with pulse torsion zone technology, is the next generation of premium fastening accessories for trade use, engineered to withstand the high torque provided by current impact drivers as well as for use in drill/ drivers and screwdrivers. The Impact XPS series is expertly engineered to the highest quality for exceptional product life, meaning less wasted time for trades due to broken bits. Three unique features combined together, deliver a performance life of up to 90 times longer than standard screwdriver bits.
Exact Fitment Precision machined bit tips engineered to fit screws with minimal variance, thereby minimizing wear on the bit and screw. This helps prevent premature tip wear and the screw head from stripping.
Pulse Torsion Ring and Zone Pulse torsion rings are specially engineered to disperse impact energy through the torsion zone and direct to the bit tip. The torsion zone has been optimized to flex under load to transfer impact energy for improved bit life. The length combined with diameter of the bit, is a special formula to create an optimized torsion zone. This engineering works together for longer performance life.
Unique Steel Blend The unique carbon alloy steel composition of the XPS range is engineered for increased durability of the bits for longer life as well as minimizing premature damage of driver tip.

The Impact XPS range is also provided with a matte nickel coating for increased corrosion resistance. Insert & Power Bits Impact XPS Insert & Power Bits features exact fitment, pulse torsion rings / zone and unique steel blend for up to 90 times longer performance life than standard bits. Impact XPS 25mm Insert Bits and 50mm Power Bits are available in Phillips, Pozi, Square, Torx and Hex. Impact XPS Power Bits are also available in 75mm and 150mm lengths. Insert Bit Holders Impact XPS Magnetic Insert Bit Holders are ideal for use with 25mm insert bits and are engineered to allow the torsion section of the bit holder to flex under load, taking pressure off the bit tip for increased durability in high torque applications. Impact XPS insert bit holders are available in 60mm, 75mm, 150mm and 305mm lengths. These insert bit holders are available in both C-Clip retention and Quick Fit chuck designs. Magnetic Nutsetters Impact XPS Magnetic Nutsetters are designed to drive hex head nuts & self-tapping screws in a variety of applications. The Hex opening has flat edges to provide full contact with flanged hex head screws, and the lobular design in the hex drive is engineered to reduce stripping damage by driving fasteners on the sides, not the corners. With a fixed magnet insert which allows for easy one-handed operation, the Impact XPS Nutsetters are available in 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16” & 1/2” 65mm long as well as 1/4”, 5/16” & 3/8” available in 150mm long. Sockets and Socket Adaptors Impact XPS Sockets and Socket adaptors are designed to handle the fastening of automotive bolts and fasteners, coach bolts, threaded rod nuts and more. The 6-point chrome moly impact rated sockets feature a lobular design engineered to reduce stripping damage by driving fasteners on the side and not the corners. Both metric and SAE socket sets are available with 1/4” and 3/8” drive. 50mm socket adaptors are available for use with 1/4”, 3/8” & 1/2” socket drives.
