AVIS EST DONNÉ que le Conseil de la Corporation du Canton d'Alfred et Plantagenet tiendra une réunion publique le lundi 25 août 2014 à 19h00 au Centre Communautaire de Plantagenet, 220, rue Main, afin de considérer une modification au Règlement sur les Redevances d'aménagement, en vertu de l'article 12 de la Loi sur les redevances d'aménagement, 1997. BUT ET EFFET: Depuis plusieurs mois, le Conseil a préparé une étude sur les redevances d'aménagement et un projet de règlement qui s’appliquera aux nouveaux développements sur le territoire de la municipalité. Les redevances d'aménagement seront imposées sur les nouveaux développements qui ont pour effet d’accroître les besoins sur les services municipaux tels que les transports, la protection incendie et les loisirs et services culturels. Les redevances d'aménagement sont exigées au moment de l’émission d’un permis de construction. Le nouveau règlement sur les redevances d'aménagement remplacera le règlement actuellement en vigueur et sera valide pour les cinq prochaines années. Les redevances d'aménagement s’appliquent au nouveau développement résidentiel et non-résidentiel. Le développement non-résidentiel comprend les bâtiments commerciaux, industriels, institutionnels et agricoles. Les redevances ne s’appliquent pas à l’agrandissement d’un bâtiment industriel existant si l’agrandissement est inférieur à 50% de la superficie de plancher brute existante. Les bâtiments ou les structures accessoires tels qu’un garage privé, un bâtiment d'entreposage, une remise de jardin, une piscine et tout bâtiment non-résidentiel de moins de 10m2 (107.6 p.2) de superficie de plancher brute sont exemptés des redevances. TOUTE PERSONNE peux assister à la réunion publique et/ou faire des représentations écrites ou orales, soit en faveur ou soit en opposition au Règlement proposé sur les redevances d'aménagement. TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet will hold a Public Meeting on Monday the 25th day of August, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., at the Plantagenet Community Hall, 220 Main Street, in order to consider a proposed Development Charges By-Law under Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Council has over the last several months prepared a development charges study and a draft by-law which will apply to new development throughout the municipality. Development charges will be imposed on new development which increases the need for municipal services such as transportation services, fire protection and recreation and cultural services. Development charges are collected at the time a building permit is issued. The new development charges by-law will replace the current by-law and will be valid for a period of five years. Development charges will apply to both new residential and non-residential development. Non-residential development includes commercial, industrial, institutional and farm buildings. The charge does not apply to the expansion of an existing industrial building where the expansion is less than 50% of the existing gross floor area. Other buildings or structures which will be exempted from the charge include accessory uses such as a private garage, a storage building, a garden shed, a swimming pool and any non-residential building with less than 10m2 of gross floor area (107.6 ft.2). ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Development Charges By-Law. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION related to the proposed Development Charges By-Law is available during regular office hours at the municipal offices.
