The B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Safety prepares students for careers in aviation, manufacturing and construction, insurance, transportation, entertainment and government agencies. Through this degree, you are taught how to analyze and create practical solutions for challenges and risks, ensuring safe and successful operation of airports, aircraft, manufacturing and more. From the beginning, you will be immersed in safety management with access to our cutting- edge Aerospace Forensics Lab (Crash Lab) and connections with professional organizations like the American Society of Safety Professionals and the International Society of Air Safety Investigators. Bachelor of Science in Meteorology The B.S. in Meteorology gives you the tools necessary to apply the physics and dynamics of the Earth’s atmosphere to practical applications like weather forecasting, environmental science, hydrology, research and geographical analysis. From routine weather patterns to severe thunderstorms, tornadoes and jet streams, Embry-Riddle students are exposed to all aspects of our global climate. Graduates have gone on to successful careers at local television stations, airlines, the National Weather Service and the military. Bachelor of Science in Space Operations The B.S. in Space Operations prepares you for real-world situations, such as mission operations and training, policy and management. This program was developed in collaboration with NASA and FAA-AST to create a unique educational experience that provides the knowledge and skills needed for leadership in the space industry. Graduates have found positions in government and private sector space and defense organizations as engineers, media personnel, ground controllers, analysts and more. This interdisciplinary degree provides the foundation for mission safety, research, risk assessment and space regulations so you can launch a successful career in the space industry and be confident in your background and abilities.
