The College of Aviation recognizes Dr. Michael McCormick, Air Traffic Management program coordinator, for his outstanding leadership and service. Under his direction, the Air Traffic Management program earned Federal Aviation Administration Enhanced Collegiate Training Initiative approval for both terminal/tower and en route operations, an achievement that ensures students receive training aligned with the highest industry standards. In addition to his contributions on campus, Dr. McCormick is a respected media commentator, frequently called upon to share expert insight on aviation issues with national and international audiences. His dedication, leadership and expertise reflect the high caliber of faculty within the College of Aviation.
