In keeping with the modes of operation and the established rhythm of the G7 fora, Youth7 discussed the Presidency’s Priorities as well as selected ques- tions, providing policy recommendations on the most pressing challenges throughout 2022. At the very core stands the Youth7 Communiqué, repre- senting thematic priorities set by Delegates them- selves and the negotiation results on the chosen topic. Each Track identified three strategic policy areas within their framework as well as three specific recommendations for concrete action. Delegates draw direct references to the implemen- tation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as multilateral frameworks of cooperation and international treatises. To fully reflect the comprehensive process of deliberation within the Tracks and across Delega- tions, a final, open voting session was held at the Youth7 Summit 2022. After each Track introduced their draft to the plenary, further arguments were exchanged, and amendments discussed. Through unanimity in adoption, Delegations expressed their strong support for the negotiation results achieved. The Youth7 Communiqué further provided the common basis for advocacy efforts and was handed over to numerous Heads of Governments, Ministers, Members of Parliament, Ambassadors, stakeholders in civil societies and allies of the youth engagement process.
