S omerset, NJ — Zim- mel Associates , the Edison based corporate real estate services firm, has brokered the sale of one of its exclusive listings, 655 Howard Ave., a 75,000 s/f industrial building located in Somerset for $6.68 million. The seller is developer Denholtz Associates of Ma- tawan, represented by Jor- dan Zimmel , vice president, Zimmel Associates. The buyer, Bytech International, is an electronics accessories dis- tributor, and was represented by Chuck Fern of Cushman

At that time, the building was bank-owned as a result of foreclosure and had been vacant for more than a decade. “Denholtz is a long-term client of our firm and we are always on the lookout for in- vestment properties for our clients,” said Jordan Zimmel. “The building had ground- water environmental issues, but in today’s hot industrial market, it offered excellent potential for a knowledge- able, experienced developer.
