BOARD AND DELIVERY: We will board the bulls free of charge after the sale and deliver free of charge within a 200-mile radius. We normally begin making deliveries during the middle of March in order to open up our lots for our replacement heifers by April 1. We encourage you to insure your bull to protect against accident or injury following the sale. All bulls have passed a fertility exam and semen test prior to the sale.

TRUCKING DISCOUNT: Bring your trailer and take your bull home sale day, take $150 off each bull purchased.

HEALTH: • At birth all calves are given Ultrabac 7 C&D and type A • At grass time: Ultrabac 7 C&D, EnForce 3, Vira Shield 6, and Nuplura PH • At weaning, late August: Ultrabac 7 with Som, EnForce 3, ViraShield 6, & Nuplura PH • 3 weeks post weaning: Booster with Ultrabac 7 C & D, and BoviSheild Gold One Shot, Dectomax & weights taken • From time to time, we add outside genetics to our herd in the form of proven cows and new herd sires. For the past 10 years, we have maintained the practice of annually testing for Johne’s Disease to ensure the health of our herd with all dams to the bulls testing negative. We have also tested our cow herd to be negative for BVD-PI. WEANING INFO & FINAL EPDS: • The spring bulls and fall born bulls are handled under different environments and weather conditions, and therefore it is not apples to apples comparing their weights. • .Yearling Weights are taken in late January after the deadline for our catalog. We will post a supplement sheet prior to the sale with actual scrotal measurements on the bulls taken from their January 23 and 24 semen test date. SEMEN INTEREST ON BULLS: High Point Genetics will be retaining 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling unless otherwise noted. Buyers receive full possession and salvage value. SHARED FIRST SEASON 90-DAY BREEDING GUARANTEE: All bulls selling for $4,000 or more will be covered 50% by High Point Genetics if they are injured during their first breeding season and will not heal, causing them to be a non-breeder. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turn out of the bull. Fifty percent of the purchase price of the bull less $750 will be given as credit towards a replacement bull, if available, or credit will carry forward till the next year. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the bull being sold as salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2024. Example: A $5,000 bull is injured and will not heal. A credit of $2,500, less $750 will be given to the buyer. (Credit = $1,750) Please note: No credit will be given if the bull is struck by lightning or dies during the breeding season.
