MIDDLE SCHOOLS BY ZONE

Middle school is a time when students begin the transition to high school, with the opportunity to explore their individual talents and interests. RCSD middle schools are designed to prepare students for high school, both academically and emotionally. A focus on character development and leadership skills while fostering a sense of community will allow students to develop the skills and knowledge that prepare them for success in college and careers. The curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and cultivate critical thinking skills, with courses that cover a wide range of subjects, including Career and Technical Education (CTE), humanities, arts, and more. Beyond academics, students can choose from a variety of extracurricular activities that range from athletics and arts to community service projects. Field trips, guest speakers, and partnerships with local organizations provide unique opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration.
