Suggestions for Preparation:

1. What are some of the major changes underway within UNC? What has prompted these changes? Which changes are going smoothly, and which changes are stalled or running into resistance? What can be done to facilitate the changes you see? 2. Reflect on your personal experiences with change, both as a leader and a participant of change. What have you learned from these experiences about effective tactics for change? What are some general lessons or observations you would like to offer for discussion with your fellow participants in the course? 3. How have you seen the change management principles described in the Change Theory primer implemented in actual change initiatives? What has been the result?
