Experience of working in/with a large, complex organisation, with proven experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholder groups. Experience of procuring and managing external design and project teams in a comparable context. Experience in managing major projects ie over £1 million from inception to completion. Budget management and financial reporting experience. A background and track record of managing construction projects and programmes (including new build, refurbishments and improvements) within a large, complex, occupied estate involving a wide range of building types and stakeholders. Detailed practical knowledge of construction project management, contract administration and the operation of building contracts, supported by substantial experience. A detailed understanding of construction contract management and preferably with experience of JCT and / or NEC forms of contract. A practical knowledge and application of statutory regulations relating to Planning Acts, Building Regulations, Health & Safety at Work Act and Construction Design Management Regulations. Budget management and financial reporting skills.
