David D’Souza, Membership Director, CIPD David is the Director of Membership. He is responsible for growing our membership and ensuring we connect effectively with the profession to understand how to continually improve our support to our members. Described as “one of the UK’s most influential HR and workplace commentators”, David is a respected speaker and writer on progressive HR and business practice. Jennifer McClellan, Divisional HR Business Partner – ADS&T, Atkins Jennifer has worked at Atkins for 11 years in a variety of HR roles including managing change, employee relations, employee engagement, organisation design and project management. Jennifer is part of Atkins Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee and founded an employee network, ParentNet, to better support individuals and managers with the challenges of balancing parenting and work. Jo Banks, Owner, What Next Consultancy Jo - a Transformational Coach, CBT Therapist, NLP Master Practitioner and author - is passionate about helping individuals and organisations to reach their full potential through her innovative coaching style. Her own unique style focuses on behavioural change, fundamentally changing clients’ thought patterns to achieve tangible results, and supercharges their performance and elevating their business to the next level. Nick Davison, Head of Health Services, John Lewis Partnership Nick joined the John Lewis Partnership in 2011 with a brief to redesign and create a health service to reflect the changing needs of this leading retailer and support the health of its 90,000 co-owning Partners. Nick’s passion for service improvement has driven the new service, which launched in 2013. Michelle Mills-Porter, Managing Director, Mmp Michelle is a specialist in human behaviour and communication. In addition to being a Master behaviour Profiler, author, and trainer she is an impactful International Keynote Speaker, able to move an audience and leave them reflecting on their lives and the things that are important to them. She is able to help people to align themselves with their true core values and find their flow to lead them to fulfilment. Lisa Tomlinson, Head of People and Commercial Development, Fircroft College Lisa is an advocate for inclusion and social justice, and feels that flexible working is fundamental to achieving a fairer society. Lisa has led Fircroft College through substantial redevelopments and growth embedding an inclusive and values based culture reaching outstanding results in terms of recruitment, retention and engagement.

Professor Rob Briner, Professor of Organizational Psychology, Scientific Director, Queen Mary University of London, Center for Evidence-Based Management Rob’s research has focused on several topics including well-being, emotions, stress, ethnicity, the psychological contract, absence from work, motivation, work-nonwork and everyday work behaviour. Rob also helps organizations to make better use of evidence, including research evidence, in decision-making and encourage academics to make research more accessible. Teresa Boughey, Founder and CEO, Jungle HR and Jungle Diversity Teresa Boughey MA Chartered FCIPD is Founder and CEO of National Award-Winning Jungle HR, a strategic HR Consultancy Practice that works with Executive Boards and Leadership Teams during times of change and business transformation. Teresa is the #1 bestselling author of ‘Closing the Gap – 5 steps to creating an inclusive culture,’ she has also been appointed to one of only 50 UK Female Entrepreneur Ambassador roles, she has been recognised as a Top 100 F: entrepreneur. Tony Vickers-Byrne, Chief Adviser for HR Practice, CIPD Tony has over 25 years’ experience at HR director level, primarily in the NHS. He works with CIPD colleagues on a range of national initiatives across diversity and inclusion, employee well-being and employee engagement. Tony is also a member of Professor Sir Cary Cooper’s National Forum for Health and Well-being at Work and a Trustee at the Royal Society for Public Health. Described as “always solutions orientated”, Tilly has particular expertise in assisting employers navigate their way through difficult employee disputes with minimal risk. She regularly provides training to HR and leadership teams and is known for her engaging and interactive delivery style. Sandra Thompson, Applied Customer Experience, Course Founder and Lead, Exceed all Expectations Sandra is a published consultant, lecturer, course leader and trainer in the field of customer experience. Sandra designed and now leads a certificated postgraduate course in Applied Customer Experience which blends scientific fact and insight from practitioners. In January 2020 Sandra delivers her first Emotional Intelligence and Customer Experience training programme in London.
