Fields • Core_UID – The Unique Core Identifier field from the ESRI Green Infrastructure Core Data. The original field name was "Value", and the alias was "Unique Core Identifier." • Plant_Cnt – The total number of unique plant species that intersect this core using the methods described above • Animal_Cnt – The total number of unique animal species that intersect this core using the methods described above • Species_Cn – The total number of unique plant and animal species that intersect this core using the methods described above Sensitive layers SENSITIVE_DO_NOT_SHARE_NC_cores_with_heritage_plants This layer includes the scientific names for each plant species observed in each core. The smallest cores are only 100 acres in size. These data are sensitive and cannot be shared. Fields • Core_UID – The Unique Core Identifier field from the ESRI Green Infrastructure Core Data. The original field name was "Value", and the alias was "Unique Core Identifier." • SCI_NAME – The scientific name of the plant species that intersect this core using the methods described above • ELEMENT_ID – A unique ID for each species that will remain constant if the scientific name changes SENSITIVE_DO_NOT_SHARE_NC_cores_with_heritage_animals This layer includes the scientific names for each animal species observed in each core. The smallest cores are only 100 acres in size. These data are sensitive and cannot be shared. Fields • Core_UID – The Unique Core Identifier field from the ESRI Green Infrastructure Core Data. The original field name was "Value", and the alias was "Unique Core Identifier." • SCI_NAME – The scientific name of the animal species that intersect this core using the methods described above • EO_ID – A unique ID for each species that will remain constant if the scientific name changes Summary of results Based on this analysis, there are 2,953 individual intact habitat cores that are at least 100 acres in size and contain at least one SGCN observation. Many of these individual cores are adjacent to, or in close proximity to, one another. In total, there are 8.76 million acres of cores
