Figure 1. Draft Conservation Opportunity Areas (COAs) in NC, SC, and GA for 2025 updates to State Wildlife Action Plans. While each of these states used a different analysis to identify COAs, they all used the Southeast Conservation Blueprint as a consistent dataset, improving alignment across state lines. This cross-boundary alignment will likely enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of conservation actions to support SGCN shared by multiple states.
