Our tequila is named after our founder, Eduardo “Lalo” González, the nickname given to him by his grandfather, the father of premium tequila, Don Julio González. Lalo continues the legacy of his father and grandfather with a bold new approach to perfecting blanco tequila. After nearly a decade in the industry seeing tequila follow many different trends, friends David and Lalo sought to create a truly pure blanco tequila. Fuyu means "winter" in Japanese. This hand- blended whisky comes from three distilleries around Kyoto, on the island of Honshu. Fuzu Mizunara is a three-year old blend made up of 50% malt and 50% corn. This whisky is matured in American white oak casks, with a six-month finishing period in mizunara barrels.

THE STORY The year was 1924. It was the heart of the Prohibition Era and wine’s darkest hour when it was outlawed and deemed unconstitutional. It was also the year our family first planted vineyards in California and farmed grapes that were sold to friends and neighbors. Story goes some of these grapes might have been used to make wine.

Well-balanced and dense, the mouth opens with a frank attack and a nice acidic tension before revealing all its fullness and its greedy aromas of candied fruit. The long finish is elegant thanks to a delicate bitterness. ROUGE Seductive intense and deep ruby-red colour with purple undertones. This wine reveals a powerful nose with an aromatic variety harmoniously blending notes of very ripe black fruit with subtle notes of spices, enhanced with a hint of Sichuan pepper. Elegant and remarkably balanced, the palate offers fine tannins and superb aromas of small red fruit underlined by delicate peppery notes. Typical notes of Syrah that linger on a very long finish.

Borgo Magredo is the largest estate in Friuli and it is located in the Grave del Friuli DOC. The history of Borgo Magredo began in 1989 when Genagricola acquired an existing property in the Municipality of Spilimbergo. The unique soil also determines a particular microclimante: the stones capture heat during the day and release it at night, protecting the grapes from low temperatures. The warm draft then flows towards the mountains, its low-pressure drawing cooler breezes from the snowy peaks. The cool-warm temperature cycles span over 4 square miles of Grave vineyards and contribute to the unique aroma, flavor and fragrance of Borgo’s wines.

To create the Stella Rosa wines, our family chose the region of Asti, a province in Piedmont, Italy, as the source for its aromatic grapes, which have become the hallmark for the Stella Rosa style of wines. The area of Asti has particular significance to our family, as it is the birthplace of our family matriarch, Maddalena Riboli. Our first Stella Rosa wine was Moscato D’Asti, which has become a flagship of this line. Soon after, Stella Rosa Rosso was created – the brand’s first semi-sweet, semi-sparkling red wine blend, and first wine of its kind to be brought to America from Asti. The rapid phenomenal successes of these two wines began the lineage of Stella Rosa, which now boasts over 20 distinctive flavors.
