Seed Preparation
Dry Seed Preparation for Indigofera suffruticosa (If Scarification Isn’t Possible)
◦ Follow the same straining and planting steps as soaked seeds.
◦ Crack husks gently using a mortar and pestle, rolling pin, or by rubbing seeds between hands, taking care not to crush seeds. ◦ Separate seeds from husks using a colander. ◦ Husk-free seeds can be planted directly or soaked overnight in hot water to speed germination.
