Dear MAAG Americas Team:
We did it! We finished the first quarter with strong bookings that put us on the right path of achieving our revenue AOP by the end of the year. A special “thanks” goes out to the sales and after market teams, as well as all the supporting functions that made this happen (and don’t stop booking)! We will shift our focus now to operations to make sure that everything we have in the backlog will go out with the quality and at the time we promise our customers. You will see more attention to driving operational efficiency in both our manufacturing locations and we will work with Dover’s Operations team to further advance MAAG America’s operational excellence. We have already started to make organizational changes on the shop floor and will give additional support as we dedicate resources to value engineer products, reduce waste, and improve our manufacturing processes. In the words of David Jewell: “We don’t want to make our products cheaper, but less expensive, on time, and with the highest quality possible – our customers deserve nothing less!”
I ask for everyone’s support to make this happen and as we enter the 2 nd quarter of this year. Keep up the good work!
