ALL ABOUT

KYBELLA

BIBLE VERSE May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 Kybella’s primary ingredient is a synthesized version of a molecule that occurs naturally in our bodies. This molecule aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat that’s built up through our diets. Kybella destroys fat cells in the same way, I’m always on the forefront of new techniques and technologies that help my patients, and this month, I wanted to share with you my experiences with Kybella, a new fat-burning injection. It’s taking the medical cosmetics world by storm as an effective alternative to chin liposuction. Instead of surgically removing fat from under the chin, Kybella does so via injections. It’s less invasive, and the process is spread out over several months rather than one big appointment. Although the cost is approximately the same, Kybella doesn’t require a lump sum of money, and if less injections are needed, then the cost goes down (compared to the fixed cost of surgery).

and it does so permanently; further treatment shouldn’t be required. Injections typically take 15–20 minutes and are spaced about a month apart. Although you may require up to six injections over the course of treatment, it’s likely you’ll be finished much sooner. Is Kybella right for you? The best way to find out is to come in and let us take a look. We’ll weigh options, including Kybella versus chin liposuction, and give you all the information you need to make a smart, informed decision. For many patients, it’s the treatment they’ve been waiting for, and I’m happy to be able to bring it to them.
