Who We Are, What We Do, and Why The Pearland Convention and Visitors bureau is a department of the City of Pearland. Our operating budget is funded by visitors to Pearland, via the hotel occupancy tax collected during each overnight stay in our community, not the General Fund like other city departments. Our mission is to promote and coordinate tourist related activity with the City of Pearland.
