ZYCHLINSKI PARK
Location: 2243 Grand Blvd. Year Opened/Upgraded: Originally platted as an unnamed park in 1894 / Scheduled for a full playground replacement Unique Feature: Zychlinski Park has deep roots and history here in Pearland. It was named after Pearland’s founder, a Polish nobleman named Captain Wilhelm Zychlinski. Zychlinski is also home to a war memorial, a baseball monument notating this park as Pearland’s original baseball field, and most recently the location of a time capsule that was encapsulated in 2007 and is set to be opened in the year 2057.

Unique Feature: The Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch Phase 1 was completed and opened in April 2017, bringing Pearland four additional softball fields, four additional baseball fields, and two multipurpose fields. This complex is gearing up for phase 2 which will bring a Miracle Field that will be able to accommodate several outdoor sports such as soccer, lacrosse, cricket, baseball and more to serve the special needs community in a way we haven’t been able to do before. Also included in this phase will be an all inclusive playground adjacent to the Miracle Field.
