The Delta Alpha Bible Class of the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth, Minn. Organized seven years ago with a membership of sixteen. Present mem bership over one hundred. Class Text is John 12:32, “ And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” The class furnishes teachers for both church and mission schools. The pastor, Dr. G. W. Arms, is a reader of The King’s Business and stands for all the fundamental truths “ Dr. Myers’ wonderful, soul-stirring message at the Tabernacle last night was a most fitting climax to what has been pronounced by many the greatest Bible Conference of the past twenty- three years. Dr. Griffith Thomas, a fine speaker, teaching Romans; Dr. Massee poured out his great, loving heart night after night, and the rest were all good, too, but it seemed Dr. Myers was everybody’s favorite. His sermon came after a great many pre liminaries, some rather trying, such as closing up offerings for the expense of the conference, etc., but even this was a great victory, and then everybody felt so well repaid when Dr. Myers did get the floor that we were all sorry he could not go on indefinitely. It was a won derful climax to a great conference.” Dr. Myers will take part in the Fourth Annual Conference of the Christian Fundamentals Conference to be held in
of God’s Word, as does also Deacon Thorburn, who appears in the rear of the class. We congratulate this class, this church, this pastor and this deacon, and pray that they may long be spared to demonstrate the fact that the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ is sufficient to attract and hold a class of intelligent people, and that it is “ the power of God unto salvation to every one that: be- lieveth.” . the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, June 25 to July 2— and also in the Summer Bible Conference to be held under the- auspices of the Institute, immediately following. He has a host of friends on the Pacific Coast who always welcome every opportunity of hearing his ,help ful and inspiring messages from tlie old Book.
