TRI PITANJA ZA ALEKSANDRA GLUŠICU, KOPILOTA Kad ste shvatili da želite da budete pilot? – Od malih nogu gajio sam želju da to bude moj poziv. Verujem da danas većina dečaka, a sve više i devojaka, deli ono o čemu sam ja maštao. Moj otac je takođe bio pilot i ra- stao sam s njim kao uzorom. Koja je najveća zabluda koju ljudi imaju o pilotima? – Generalno, u razgovoru sa ljudima koji nemaju dodi- ra sa pilotskom strukom stiče se utisak da nas smatraju ne- dodirljivim ljudima koji su otporni na sve i koji nemaju mane. Ne bih se složio sa tim jer mi smo deo iste populacije koja je podložna svakakvim uticajima. Naša struka po prirodi stva- ri nalaže da se držimo određenih načela i svi smo obavezni da se toga bezuslovno pridržavamo i u skladu sa tim se po- našamo. Koja destinacija je najlepša u proleće? – Po mom mišljenju, u bilo koje doba dana ili godine ni- jedna destinacija nije ni približno lepa kao Beograd.

When did you realise that you wanted to become a pilot?
“I nurtured a desire for that calling from an early age. I be- lieve that today a majority of small boys, and ever more girls too, share dreams with those I imagined. My father was also a pilot and I grew up with him as a role model.”
What’s the greatest misconception people have regarding pilots?
“Generally, when speaking to people who have no con- tact with the piloting profession, we get the impression that we are considered untouchable people who are resistant to everything and who have no flaws. I wouldn’t agree with that, because we are part of the same population that’s suscepti- ble to all kinds of influences. Our profession, according to the nature of things, dictates that we observe certain principles and are all obliged to adhere to that unconditionally and act in accordance with that.” Which destination is the most beautiful during spring? “In my opinion, at any time of the day or year, no destina- tion is anywhere near as beautiful as Belgrade.”
