Gazela je najprometniji beogradski most iznad Save. Građena je od 1966. do 1970. kao deo gradskog auto-puta, a otvorena 4. decembra 1970. u prisustvu Josipa Broza Tita i Branka Pešića. Gazela se iznad Save izdiže 22,8 metara pri srednjem vodostaju, a ime je ovom prelepom mostu dao Đorđe Lazarević, predsednik konkursne komisije za gradnju mosta. Rekao je: „Ovaj most je preskočio Savu kao gazela“. Gazela Bridge, over the Sava, is the busiest Belgrade bridge. Built from 1966 to 1970 as part of the city highway, it opened on 4 th December 1970, in the presence of Josip Broz Tito and Belgrade Mayor Branko Pešić. Gazela rises 22.8 metres above the Sava during the middle water level, and this beautiful bridge was named by Đorđe Lazarević, the president of the competition commission for the construction of the bridge. He said: this bridge has jumped over the Sava like a leaping gazelle.
