Najvažniji austrijski međunarodni film- ski festival Vijenale održaće se i ove godi- ne po 58. put, ali u malo drugačijim okol- nostima. Uz poštovanje svih zdravstvenih propisa, od 22. oktobra do 1. novembra u bečkim bioskopima biće prikazano vi- še od 200 igranih i dokumentarnih filmo- va, među kojima će biti ostvarenja Prva krava , El Gran Fellove Meta Dilona, Ne - ver Rarely Sometimes Always Elize Hi- tmen, koja je dobila veliku nagradu žirija na ovogodišnjem Berlinalu. Organizato- ri festivala ističu da je ovo odlična prilika da se ukaže na važno mesto bioskopa na umetničkoj mapi jednog grada, a koji su bili pogođeni prethodnih meseci. TIME FOR THE VIENNALE Austria’s most important international film festival, The Viennale, will be held for the 58 th time this year, albeit under slightly al- tered circumstances. With adherence to all health regulations, Vienna’s cinemas will screen more than 200 feature and do- cumentary films from 22 nd October to 1 st November, including First Cow, Matt Di- llon’s The Great Fellove and Never Rarely Sometimes Always, directed by Eliza Hi- ttman, the winner of this year’s grand jury prize at the Berlinale. Festival organisers note that this is an excellent opportuni- ty to highlight the important role on the ar- tistic map of the city that’s played by its cinemas, which were heavily affected du- ring previous months.
Hanover je poznat kao grad sajmova, ali malo je onih koji znaju koliko turistič- kih atrakcija taj grad ima. Jedna od najve- ćih su vrtovi Herenhauzen, koji predstav- ljaju upečatljiv primer jedinstvenog stila u hortikulturi starog više od 300 godina. Središnji deo vrta čini Velika bašta, na- stala po zamisli kraljice Sofije od Hano- vera, a prošarana je brojnim fontanama. Leja od stabala limete dugačka dva kilo- metra vodi posetioce u vrt Georgengar- ten, uređen u klasičnom engleskom stilu. Centralna tačka ovog vrta je Georgenpa- las, nekada kraljevska rezidencija, a da- nas muzej Vilhelma Buša. ROYAL GARDENS Hanover is known as a city of fairs, but there are few who know just how many to- urist attractions this city has. One of the largest is Herrenhausen Gardens, which represent a striking example of a unique horticultural style dating back more than 300 years. The central part of the gar- dens is the Great Garden, created accor- ding to the idea of Queen Sophia of Hano- ver and adorned with numerous fountains. A two-kilometre-long lane of lime trees le- ads visitors to the Georgengarten, lands- caped in a classic English style. At the centre of this garden is Georgenpalas, which was once a royal residence and to- day houses the Wilhelm Busch Museum.
Za Solun kažu da je muzej na otvorenom zbog bogate istorije i brojnih spomenika kulture. U želji da turistima pokažu svoju prošlost, Grci su došli na originalnu ideju – napravili su turističku turu Ruta Unesko - vih spomenika , u okviru koje za nekoliko sati možete da obiđete čak 15 spomeni- ka koji se nalaze na Uneskovoj listi svet- ske baštine. Tokom ture videćete i čuti priču o veličanstvenoj Crkvi Svete Sofi- je, Manastiru Vladaton, Beloj kuli, koja je simbol grada, Muzeju Rotonda, izgrađe- nom u 4. veku... ROADS OF HISTORY Thessaloniki is said to be a veritable open- air museum, thanks to its rich history and numerous cultural monuments. With a desire to present their past to tourists, Greeks came up with the original idea of developing a tour under the name “UNES- CO Monuments Route”, which enables vi- sitors, in just a few hours, to tour as many as 15 monuments that are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour you will see and hear the stories of the magnificent Church of Aghia Sophia, Vlatadon Monastery and the White Tower, a symbol of the city, as well as the muse- um of the Rotunda of Galerius, built in the fourth century...
