Čak i nekoliko malih saksija učiniće da se u skromnom stanu osećate kao u opojnom vrtu Even a few small pots in a modestly furnished apartment will make you feel like you’re in an intoxicating garden
I f this turbulent year has taught us anything, it’s the extent to which there is truth in the old say- ing – life’s most beautiful at home! e months of quarantine tried the patience of even those who generally adore spending time under a blan- ket on their sofa. A movement of young enthusiasts wishing to live their lives in “little home jungles” has begun emerging around the world. Truth be told, this trend dates back to long before the Coronavirus pan- demic, with only its adoption as a postulate of the “new normal” making it more of a mass movement - and more convenient. e notion of sustainability has become unavoidable in recent years, not only as something that we should strive to achieve as a socie- ty, but also for each of us to strive to create and main- tain this heavily garden on asphalt. ere are really lots of ideas - and they don’t de- pend at all on how much space and money you have at your disposal. Even a few small pots in a modestly furnished apartment will make you feel like you’re in an intoxicating garden. Inspiration can be found in the book Plant Tribe: Live Happily Ever After with Plants, whose authors, Igor Josifović and Judith De Graaff, use atmospheric depictions of distinct individuals for whom plants are a leitmotif in their living space, teach us how to bring nature into our home – and there- by rid that home of stress and bad vibrations. Try it!
