For more than 50 years now , our professional image has helped set the Averitt team apart. It is also an important part of our brand – our job is to make sure it stays that way. We want our image to continue to set us apart for the next 50 years. Like anything else, leadership sets the tone and is responsible for how our associates meet our standards.

This is where you can find the most up-to-date information on our professional uniform program, image and grooming standards, and processes for new hires. Additionally, we’ve included some tools that can help you reinforce the importance of professional image to your associates:

Uniform & Grooming Standards: a quick reference that shows how an associate should look when in uniform. Uniform Allotment Guidelines: from drivers to dock associates, this page outlines which associates are required to wear uniforms, as well as which associates are eligible to receive a uniform allotment each year. Uniform Exchange Program: associates can get a free uniform shirt when they turn in five old ones. Shirt Voucher Program: help your associates maintain our professional image standards by providing them with a voucher to be used toward new uniform shirts. Clean Hat Program: hats can get dingy and grimy pretty quickly. Keep our associates looking in tip-top shape by having them turn in their old ones for a replacement. Arm Sleeve Program: while we support associates expressing themselves with tattoos, we do have image standards that call for body art to be covered or inconspicuous. Part-Time Dock Uniform Program: to help our part-time dock associates wear their Averitt uniform with pride. Switcher Safety Shirt Program: special reflective wear is provided for the safety of our dock-switcher associates. Temporary Associate Garment Program: even though they’re not required to wear uniforms, there are special clothing guidelines in place for temps.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with all of our image standards, to set the example yourself, and to coach up your associates on how to make sure they’re looking sharp each day. As we do that, we’ll continue to set the standard for professionalism.

UNIFORM ALLOTMENT GUIDELINES

Driver and dock associates are required to be in complete Averitt uniform from head to toe on the job. The below chart is to help you determine what your associates receive each year as part of their uniform allotment, as well as which associates are eligible to receive an allotment. UNIFORM EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The Uniform Exchange program focuses on taking uniform shirts that do not fit image guidelines out of the system and replacing them with new ones. Every shirt our associates donate to be recycled goes to Matthew 25 Ministries – a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization that rescues and reuses products to help people all around the world. UNIFORM EXCHANGE PROCESS 1. Complete all aspects of the Uniform Exchange form completely. A Uniform Exchange form is provided in all uniform catalogs and can be found at InsideAverit.com/UniformExchange. 2. Send Uniform Exchange form and five old uniform shirts via truckmail to Marketing and Communications. 3. We will also accept pants, shorts and jackets, although these items are not part of the 5/1 exchange. 4. Once Marketing and Communications receives the five shirts to be exchanged, orders will be placed for one free shirt that is listed on the exchange form. The new item will ship directly to the associate. UNIFORMITY EXCHANGE PROGRAM This is available for uniform allotment eligible associates only. Send five old uniform shirts by truckmail to CSC: Attn Marketing & Communications and you will receive a FREE shirt, listed below.

SHIRT VOUCHER PROGRAM

To help encourage professionalism, you may decide to give associates a Shirt Voucher in the amount of $35, which they can apply toward the purchase of a new shirt. SHIRT VOUCHER PROCESS 1. Service center director, Dedicated site manager, operations manager, frontline leader or

Regional VP of Operations can request the voucher. 2. The recipient must be a uniform required associate.

3. Requests can be emailed to uniforms@averitt.com with the quantity needed. 4. The uniform team will fill the request. Vouchers will be truckmailed to you along with instructions. 5. Coach the associate on our image guidelines and how to participate in our uniform exchange program. 6. Once you have coached the associate on our image guidelines, present them with one voucher for a new shirt. 7. Email uniforms@averitt.com with the first and last name of the recipient. 8. The uniform team will then deposit the funds into the associate’s Cintas account within 24 hours.

CLEAN HAT PROGRAM

The Clean Hat program focuses on providing clean hats in exchange for hats that are faded, frayed, stained or otherwise don’t meet image guidelines. All active associates who are wearing hats that do not meet image and uniform guidelines are eligible.

Requests for hats to use in our Clean Hat program can be made by the below associates by sending an email to cleanhats@averitt.com .

PART-TIME DOCK UNIFORM PROGRAM

To help our part-time dock associates wear their Averitt uniform with pride, this program provides them with a uniform allotment of three Averitt branded shirts.

On Jan. 1 every year, all part-time dock associates receive a uniform allotment of three shirts.

New part-time dock associates are eligible to redeem the allotment once they have completed 40 days of employment . After their first 40 days, part-time dock associates can redeem their uniform allotment by visiting our uniform website.

TEMPORARY ASSOCIATE GARMENT PROGRAM

Temporary associates are required to follow our image standards when it comes to facial hair, grooming, etc. They are not required to wear uniforms, but there is a special policy in place for temps when it comes to clothing. • Drivers: solid, true red or button-down shirt (long-sleeve or short-sleeve) and gray or black pants (no jeans)
